Anxiety is a prolonged state of fear. It is an emotion that is difficult to define and even more difficult to reliably detect in performance. The present study was an attempt to find out the difference between male and female and rural and urban athletes of district Rohtak on test anxiety. A number of 100 athletes (50 male + 50 female) belonged to rural and urban areas were taken as a sample on the basis of random sampling method. Anxiety Inventory developed by Sud and Sud (1997) was used to collect the data. It was found that there is no significant difference between male and female athletes and rural and urban athletes of district Rohtak.References
