Elemental Analysis of Ethanolic Extract of Flowers of Speranthus indicus Linn

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the elemental analysis of ethanolic extract of flowers of Speranthus indicus Linn. Elemental analysis shows the presence of Calcium, Iron, Sodium, Potassium and Zinc as 8.66, 4.59, 5.75, 3.69 and 9.5 mg/g respectively. Toxic chemical lead is not present in the flower extract. Therefore, the flowers of these plant posses strong metal content which is beneficial to human health.
