The present study was undertaken to enumerate anti‐diabetic formulations which are prepared from the leaves of some potential medicinal plants. There are about 18 plant species can be used to prepare antidiabetic formulations by natives and local inhabitants. The present study also highlights and popularizes the knowledge and the mode of administration of these herbal leaf formulations for the treatment of diabetics by local inhabitants of the study area.Keywords
