To Study the Preference of Young Indian’s towards Sustainable Entrepreneurship Process

Entrepreneur and entrepreneurship are the two very important pillars of the country's development. It is an important activity as it utilises different resources in an innovative manner. For the purpose of social and economic prosperity it is important to have more number of entrepreneurs. Also the entrepreneurship process is required by government, financial institutions and others. In India the entrepreneurship process has got its wings after independence. Many new start ups were set up which accelerated the economic growth in the country. The Government of India (GoI) has stressed on the importance of giving boost to the entrepreneurship activity in the country. The Government of India designed various attractive schemes to the entrepreneurs in three formats; (i) government policies favouring promotion of entrepreneurial activity; (ii) making financial support available; and, (iii) setting up of academic or institutional support. Inspite of providing with excellent support many young Indian entrepreneurs deter from taking the entrepreneurship process because of the difficulties in starting a business.. Also there were many non traceable units which get registered with DIC but are not traceable after two years. This means that there are some factors which affect the entrepreneur's success rate. are various factors which lead to the reduced contribution of youngsters to entrepreneurship process. According to the MSME Report 2013-14 which clearly indicates that the percentage of closed units reported in the 4th census was 22.08% which was though much better to the 3rd census where it was reported 39% but was not that great to consider it to be satisfactory. The failure of any entrepreneurial unit spreads a wrong word of mouth and therefore may affect the attitude of a young Indian toward entrepreneur and entrepreneurship process.

Purpose: It would be interesting to know through this research paper the perception of young India towards the entrepreneurship process. What do they think? How many of the youngsters are willing to have their own start ups? What are the different challenges they anticipate in the process of entrepreneurship. Whether the youngsters today possess positive attitude or a negative attitude towards the entrepreneurship process? If positive then what are the factors which motivate them and if negative then what factors leads to the negativity.

Methodology: The research study will follow the primary data analysis. The sample size will be 50 and the sample population will be the youngsters from 18 to 30 years of age.
