Excess Free Volumes and Internal Pressures of Binary Solutions of N. Butanol and Anilines
Ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity have been determined experimentally and free volume as well as internal pressure were computed for the binary mixtures of n. butanol with aniline, N-methylaniline and N, N-dimethylaniline. Excess values of viscosity, free volume and internal pressure were also deduced for these systems. The results have been discussed in the light of existing theories of molecular interaction involved and chemical constitution of the liquid components.
