In the present study the chitosan has been dissolved indifferent acids like formic, acetic, succinic and adipic to form different salts. Some of the physical properties such as dielectric constant (ε), intermolecular free path length (Lf), Relaxation time (τ) and ultrasonic Attenuation (α)/f2 are calculated from the experimental data of refractive index, density, viscosity and ultrasonic velocity with respect to the ion size. The detailed results are presented and discussed.
