Pressure-Induced variations in the Elastic, Mechanical, and Ultrasonic Characteristics of Inter Metallic UPd3
Inter metallic compound UPd3 elastic, thermo physical, and ultrasonic properties have been evaluated in pressure range of 0 to 40 GPa. The higher order elastic coefficients of UPd3 have been evaluated using the Lennard Jones potential model. These elastic coefficients increase at the specified pressure range (0-40 GPa). We have calculated the pressure derivatives of SOECs related to third order elastic coefficients and Themophysical properties like as Voigt-Reuss constants, Bulk modulus, Young's modulus, shear modulus, Possion's ratio, melting point, micro-hardness parameter are evaluated. We have calculated Debye temperature and thermal conductivity with pressure, they are increases with pressure. The angle dependent ultrasonic properties like ultrasonic velocities, relaxation time and ultrasonic attenuation are also calculated. Finally, pressure dependent ultrasonic attenuation has been evaluated with the use of physical parameters. The assessment of the current study that was obtained has been compared and studied with the data that was available from previous research.
