The volumetric and sound parameters are very helpful tools in order to study the various physico-chemical behavior, structural as well as molecular interactions of liquid and liquid mixtures. Today salinity becomes a major problem affecting the crop production of all over the world: 20% of cultivated land area, and 33% of irrigated land area, are salt-affected and degraded in the world. This process can be emphasized by continuous climate change, excessive use of groundwater and bulk use of low-quality water in irrigation. Excessive soil salinity reduces the many agricultural crop production, which are particularly sensitive throughout the development and growth of the plant. Application of fertilizers into agricultural land could be a remedy for soil salinity by providing essential nutrients to plants. In this research paper, acoustic and volumetric properties of phosphate based fertilizers such as Triple Super Phosphate (TSP) of different weight fraction at 288.15K temperatures have been studied. This is an experimental based work and the resultant of this knowledge can be employed in formulation of fertilizers according to the nature of their application which could enhance fertilizer's activity either in terms of nutrients development or to control the salinity of soil. Results obtained from calculated acoustic and volumetric parameters indicated that the presence of strong interactions in saline salt solutions which depends upon nature of molecules. The fertilizer: Triple Super Phosphate shows, maximum molecular interactions at higher concentration in both the saline salt solutions (Sodium Chloride and Sodium Sulfate), which can also be castoff to control the salinity of soil using electrostatic interactions among saline salts and fertilizers.Keywords

Densities and ultrasonic velocities were measured for the pure (distill water), binary and ternary liquid mixtures formed by distilled water-potassium sulfate and distilled water-potassium sulfate-sodium chloride/ magnesium chloride at 288.15 K over the entire concentration range 0.02-0.2 mol-kg–1. The experimental data is used to calculate the different acoustical and volumetric parameters. These parameters are explained on the basis of molecular interactions between the components of the mixtures. The potassium sulfate shows, maximum molecular interactions at higher concentration in all the solvents (water, sodium chloride and magnesium chloride), which can also be castoff to control the salinity of soil using electrostatic interactions among saline salts and fertilizers.Keywords
