Ultrasonic velocities and derived thermodynamic parameters are of considerable interest in understanding the nature and strength of various intermodular interactions, formation of Hydrogen bonding etc In the present work adiabatic compressibility and enthalpies of binary liquid mixtures of n-alcohols with Lactic acid and Dioxane have been computed from the measured values of density, viscosity and ultrasonic velocity. The excess values of these parameters have been calculated to study the nature and strength of molecular interactions in liquid mixtures. The effect of electro negativity and induction reflected in the values of Alcohol-Dioxane systems have been detected.- Acoustic and Excess Parameter Studies on Interaction in Ternary Liquid Mixtures

In the present work, measurement of ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity of ternary liquid mixtures of Dioxane, n-alcohols and Lactic acid are made 10 ml specific gravity bottle and Kenon-Fenske viscometer respectively. From the measured values adiabatic compressibility and excess adiabatic compressibility values are computed to study the strengths of various intermolecular intermolecular interactions between the polar liquids and non polar solvent. Lactic acid-Dioxane system shows strong Hydrogen bonding effect. Mutual depolymerisation is predominant in ternary liquid mixtures.- Correlation Between Activity Coefficient and Equivalent Conductance of Aqueous Solutions of Electrolytes Through Ultrasonic Measurements
