The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) took a very useful academic initiative in 2015 to encourage research and publications in anaesthesiology and critical care in different zones of the ISA. That was to launch zonal journals with the aim of providing additional platform for the members from the zones to submit their research papers forpublication and not depend solely on the national journal of ISA, the Indian Journal of Anaesthesia (IJA).
