Stress which has been the major focus of many researches and studies, is an inevitable consequence of the complexity of modern life. In the face of cut throat competition stress is mostly unavoidable and owing to the negative effects that it exerts upon physical health and psychological well being, it has captured the attention of psychologists and other experts. According to Baron and Byrne,” Stress is defined as any physical or psychological event that is perceived as a potential threat to physical or emotional well being”. Morgan, King, Weisz and Schopler define stress as “an internal state which can be caused by physical demands on the body or by environmental and social situations which are evaluated as potentially harmful, uncontrollable or exceeding our source of coping''.
