New Teaching Strategies in India

Entertainment has played a vital role in the field of Education. It has been seen that Entertainment Education is easy to understand for the children of age group 3 to 12 in comparison to tradition approach of Education. An area based study was done in the school of Agra villages. Student of class 1st to 5th Std. was selected for Comparative study. Name of school/village/District: 1) S.P Upadhyay School, Baduria Ki garhi, Agra 2) Kakua Inter college, Kakua village, Agra 3) Itora Inter collge, Itora village, Agra 4) Rohta inter college, Rohta village, Agra 5) Rajendra Prasad inter college, Hakimpura village, Agra. To understand the effect of Entertainment (by video) in the field of Education. And determine the impact of Entertainment education on the psychology of the student. Sample size: 50 from each school. Convenient sampling Demographic details of student: Children up to 12 age group was taken for research. Student was divided into 2 groups, each group contain 25 students. One group taught by video and pictures and other group taught by traditional teaching method. Then after completion of 2 day workshop, written exam was conduct to check the knowledge level of student. Data entry analysis was done in SPSS 16 and significant test (student t test) was applied. Null hypothesis was rejected and alternative hypothesis was selected for the study. It was found that Knowledge level of student, who taught with the help of video was more comparison to the student, who taught with the help of traditional type of teaching. 60 % student was not understand the subject solely, who taught by traditional approach of teaching.
