Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder among women of reproductive age which is often associated with infertility and chronic disorders. Prevalence of PCOS in Indian adolescents is 9.13 per cent. This draws attention to the issue of early diagnosis of PCOS in adolescent girls.
