This has been a review article written keeping in mind the relationship between lingualism and creativity. A number of articles were reviewed to study the relationship between lingualism and creativity. Many researchers through their studies established that bilinguals have an advantage over monolinguals as far as creativity is concerned. On the other hand some of the researchers have shown that monolinguals have performed better on verbal creativity as compared to the figural creativity. All the research articles have had been reviewed to conclude the role of lingualism in creativity. We are of the opinion that this topic is under researched and more systematic studies are required to identify the role of lingualism in creativity. Keywords
