Overview of Confocal Microscopy and Usage in Cystic Fibrosis

The aim of this study was staining of NOD1, NOD2 and CFTR receptors and its visualization by using light and confocal microscopy. Also it describes uses and advantages of confocal microscopy over other techniques, details of cystic fibrosis disease, pathophysiology, clinical features, prevalence, diagnosis and treatment. The results indicated marked expression of CFBE cell lines when visualized under confocal microscopy.
