With the increase in memory space and the need for smarter and portable computing devices, the risk for information security also increases. Comparing this with open source and portable software the life is made even easier and other extent the threat has also evenly increased. This paper briefly explains the different kinds of portable operating system available, their performance, memory usage, and applications they support and finally risk involved in using such operating system. It also portrays the comparison between some of USB operating system and explains the field where it can be applied. The threats governing the portable operating system is brought in to discussion and the security measures required to prevent the threat is also discussed.Keywords

Objective: To investigate Antidepressant activity of aqueous and methanolic leaf and shoot extracts of Ageratum conyzoides plant in mice.
Methods: The Antidepressant activity of aqueous and methanolic leaf and shoot extracts of Ageratum conyzoides plant were tested by Forced Swim Test (FST) and Tail Suspension Test (TST) in albino mice and the results were compared for the both extracts. Imipramine was used as the standard drug for comparison.
Results: Phytochemical screening showed presence of carbohydrates, alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phenols, cardiac glycosides. AEAC (Aqueous Extract of Ageratum conyzoides) and MEAC (Methanolic Extract of Ageratum conyzoides) did not produce any lethal effect even upto 2000mg/kg, p.o during Acute Oral Toxicity study. In FST (Forced swim test) and TST (Tail Suspension test), AEAC (Aqueous Extract of Ageratum conyzoides) showed diminution of duration of immobility time in 200mg/kg but not in 100mg/kg.
Conclusion: From the above investigations, concluding that, shortening of immobility time in the FST and TST indicating, AEAC showed more antidepressant activity acting either by the enhancement of central 5-HT or catecholamine neurotransmission compared to MEAC (Methanolic Extract of Ageratum conyzoides) in mice.

Background: Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are unlimited by applications, but fortunately limited with area. FPGAs can be integrated to various fields like system-on-chip, communication, cryptography, signal and image processing etc. Methods: The main purpose of this research paper is to implement multiple applications on FPGA by interfacing with various peripherals like Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART), General-Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) and Digital Video Interface (DVI) - Video Graphics Array (VGA) using Partial Reconfiguration (PR). Findings: The UART peripheral is used for dual purposes. First purpose is to switch the applications dynamically using PR, and second purpose serves a, design of N-bit adder and subtractor applications in serial communication, GPIO's are used to design various Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) techniques which are applicable in cryptography system which generates random keys encrypted with message produces cipher can encrypt and decrypt data in wireless with ZigBee peripheral devices, and LFSR is used in Built-In-Self-Test to generate test patterns for a digital system under test. Digital Video Interface peripheral is used to design ZigBee based wireless video game. A comparative analysis is performed among spartan, virtex5 and virtex6 architectures. It has been observed that virtex6 architecture consumes fewer resources in comparison to Spartan and virtex5. Moreover, a wireless remote control is designed using ZigBee to provide the gaming control to the user. Conclusion: Applications implemented using various peripherals can be switched dynamically with loading partially configured bit streams in CF card to FPGA by providing commands in serial communication through MicroBlaze Processor.Keywords

Objective: Generally there are numerous approaches to give security information that is being imparted. However, what if the security is assured irrespective of the hackers are from the noise. The Information Security is essential concern towards each communication system. Methods/Analysis: XBee is a PAN technology based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. Unlike Bluetooth or wireless USB devices, XBee devices have the ability to form a mesh network between nodes. Meshing is a type of daisy chaining from one device to another. Finding: This technique allows the short range of an individual node to be expanded and multiplied, covering a much larger area. This paper describes a design of desired security for data communication by designing standard algorithm for encryption and decryption. The process occur in this module was based on encryption and decryption. The source information is generated by a bit file and this will be encrypted and is sent to destination through XBee modules. The receiving system will check the data and decrypt according to a specific algorithm and displays on the LED. Applications/Improvement: The present algorithm is implemented in Verilog HD Land simulated using Xilinx ISE simulator tool. The design is implemented on Xilinx Spartan-3 EFPGA development board. This project has applications in encoding and decoding operations for security purposes.Keywords

The main objective of the study to evaluate the Anti-depressant activity of aqueous and chloroform extract of Eicchornia crassipes in Forced swim test (FST), Tail Suspension test (TST) in mice. Objective: To investigate Anthelmintic Activity of the Chloroform and Aqueous Extracts of leaves of Couroupita guianensis on Pheretima posthuma by Worm Motility Assay Method
Methods: The Anthelmintic activity of the Aqueous and Chloroform Extracts of Leaves of Couroupita guianensis on Pheretima posthuma by Worm Motility Assay Method and the results were compared for the both extracts. Anthelmintic activity is compared with standard drug Albendazole.
Results: The chloroform extract showed better anthelmintic activity at a concentration of 200 mg/ml, whereas the aqueous extract also showed paralysis and death at similar concentrations against Indian earth worms. The other test concentrations of both the extracts showed marked degree of anthelmintic activity. The anthelmintic effect of extracts is comparable with that of the effect produced by the standard drug albendazole.
Conclusion: From the above finding concluding that, the plant possesses significant anthelmintic activity at 200 mg/ml concentration measured by time taken for paralyse / death of the earth worms. The current investigation leads to conclusion that the leaves of Couroupita guianensis have potent anthelmintic activity when compared with the conventionally used drug

Face cream is a cosmetic cream applied to face to improve the complexion Main objective is to prepare and evaluate a stable poly herbal multipurpose face cream which is made by the aqueous extract of different herbs such as Vetiveria zizanioides, Crocus sativus, Symplocos racemosa, Pterocarpus santalinus, Rubia cordifolia, Chamaecostus cuspidatus, Cinnamomum tamala, Butea monosperma, Curcuma caesia, Brassica nigra Koch, Aganosoma hiyne, Mesua ferrae, Ficus Benghalensis, Glycerrhizia glabra, Mesua ferrae, Laccifer lacca and formulated different formulations by varying the polymers and base compositions. The evaluations of all formulations (F1 toF5) were done on different parameters like organoleptic properties, pH and stability etc. Formulations F1 to F5 good consistency, homogeneity, appearance, pH, no evidence of phase separation and ease of removal. Stability studies for conducted for all these formulation and gave good results.Keywords
