In prosthodontic treatment plan, decisions must be made regarding oral tissue rehabilitation and other necessary pre-prosthetic measures. The rehabilitation prostheses are very useful devices in the field of prosthodontics. It is essential that the mouth should be in an optimal state of health prior to commencing prosthetic treatment and failure to achieve this may produce an unsatisfactory treatment result. Depending on a variety of situations, the dentist may find it necessary to modify the patient's existing dentures or, occasionally, to construct a special appliance. This article deals with several preliminary (non-definitive) treatment options available along with a brief account of their rationale. Keywords

This article is a contextualized explanation of affirmative action policies and focuses on how the policies have fared in the Indian context. The article has focused on the assessment of the affirmative action or reservation policies as they are referred to in India. The plural Indian society is an ideal example of caste and identity based socio political structure, where contradictions rule strongly and govern the peace of the socio political set up. The reservations have a long history and were seen as a remedy for the diversity discord. Caste had been playing its dominant role as the prime divisive tool and keeping the society heirarchised. The constitution of India had been the central domain of activity where time and again amendments and clauses were added to adjust the provisions for the deprived lot. The Mandal commission brought to light the OBC issue which had been simmering for a while. The OBC demands made the reservation issue highly politicized and complex. Proliferation of groups in the wake of Mandal furore added pressure on the reservation policies and as a result of which, reservation policies were increasingly seen as rights. When assessing the policies, one cannot deny the fact that they have played a significant role in ameliorating the conditions of the underprivileged. There had been redistribution of goods so that those with a history of discrimination were compensated for being deprived of equal moral status. However this had not spread evenly throughout the beneficiary groups. Yet some significant and noteworthy progress has been made, job reservations had enabled them (the deprived lot) to acquire influential roles and their participation had also increased. These positive results are accompanied by their inherent drawbacks. The policies are confronted with the challenge being posed by the narrow sectarian interests who want to use the reservations to foster political ends. The alienation which has been building within the non beneficiaries and the consequent hatred which it amounts to is creating tensions in society. The institutional mechanism of the Indian social and political set up is making every possible effort to have an integrated outlook, and reflect homogeneity as far as respecting individuals without thinking about caste considerations is concerned. What is needed is to make a shift from the rights view and focus on the policy design so as to suit the needs of all. A thorough appraisal of the policy structure is the need of the hour. The article will revolve around the dominant role of caste in the Indian society, followed by the rights and policies as per the Indian constitution and the landmark events in the evolution of reservations in India. The article ends with the assessment of the whole situation prevalent in India.References

- Role of State in Balancing Conflicting Interests in Regards to Rights and Policies

This article particularly revolves around the disadvantages of overemphasis on the rights approach when considering the affirmative action policies in a state and what is the role of state in balancing the claims of individuals, and what are the claims of individuals belonging to the relatively poorer lot against the society. The way forward is to balance both rights and duties so as to make peace with the policies and the welfare aim of the state which can be helped by inculcating the spirit of toleration as far as non beneficiaries are concerned. The article ends on a promising note of how there is a dire need for redistribution in order to provide the most basic resources and facilities to the most deprived lot. In this article Dworkin’s views on rights had been particularly emphasized upon. In his ‘rights thesis’, he has categorically differentiated between policies and principles. Policies are tied to specific goals and they need not always be confused with principles which are the basis of why we need rights. He has categorically brought out the nuanced nature of rights and policies and their relation. Rights and policies need to balance each other as per the need of the situation. The principle and policy stand can clearly help to see how we do not need to overemphasize the rights issue, when the normative justification of affirmative action is needed;rather the policy angle is required to be given sufficient importance.Rights tend to come along with their characteristic absoluteness which is quite self defeating. Flexibility should be the guiding force to suit the ever changing situations.
How the state needs to respond to the inadequate representation of the minorities. Minority representation is one salient means of fighting the injustice perpetrated on the minorities as it will provide the much needed support to the minorities and help voice their requirements and foster the process of inclusion. The one aspect which is the guiding feature behind all the initiatives and activities is the need for justice to prevail. We cannot do away with the affirmative action policies, now what comes next is how to regulate the way in which they manifest? To say that the state is the sole guardian and protector of individual rights is no doubt like reinforcing reality, but that needs to be seen in the context as well. Even in the Indian context the directives to the state had been put under the non justifiable part, so that the state is not put in a crippled situation. This is to bring out the fact that to simply state that the state should generate resources and opportunities in a prompt manner will be to run away from reality into a never land.
Redistribution of resources has to be done so as to do away with the anomaly of uneven distributional patterns. In a single country composed of many state there could be wide disparity in the way natural resources are distributed, the nature and trend of agricultural practices the accessibility to education and other factors. Those at the receiving end should be provided with resources and means and there should be an understanding which backs the redistribution process. In theory and in practice the redistribution strategy needs to be fine tuned.

In this study, chia seeds were incorporated for the development of an optimized nutri bar. Different formulations containing 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of chia seed flour were evaluated. The developed bar was analysed for its nutritional quality, sensory attributes, physiochemical properties and storage quality. The results revealed that the 10% incorporation of chia seed with protein content 3.72 ±0.11%, crude fibre 10.52 ±0.08%, ash 2.0%, crude fat 3.52 ±0.19%, carbohydrate 51.00 ±0.24% and antioxidant activity 32.23 ±0.69% inhibition was highly acceptable in terms of sensory attributes. The shelf life study revealed that the nutri bars when stored at a temperature of 10°C sealed in low density polyethylene bags tend to be more shelf stable. The gross energy of the chia seed nutri bar was calculated to be 250.52 ±0.63% kcal. Keywords

First thing that springs to mind whenever we think of drawing and sketching is a wooden stick called a graphite pencil. It was in 1795 that the Graphite Pencil made its debut. Graphite pencils have been around since the 18th century and are currently going strong in the 21st century. We all know that even in the 21st century, we cannot ignore the pencil’s presence and significance. We were taught how to write and draw by the pencil from the very first day of school.
Artists have long sought for new art forms, materials, techniques, and instruments. Because everything is moving so quickly in the digital age, artists are also looking for rapid and time-efficient results in their artwork. Thanks to improved technology, artists now have a better digital drawing tool. Using a digital drawing tool is quite comparable to using a traditional drawing pencil in the traditional sense.
In this post, we’ll take a look at several cutting-edge digital drawing tools and explain how they might benefit artists.
