Abstract
Incompressible surfaces in the complements of knots have also been constructed by Herbert Lyon [3]. His examples are different from ours: Lyon constructs them in the complements of Neuwirth knots. Some other papers which have appeared recently are related to the material of section 1 of [5] are [1] and [2]. We would like to add the following remarks to [5].
