Background: Tender coconut water is a wholesome and nutritious drink. It has an important role to play in the fastdeveloping functional foods market particularly nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals. The resurgence of interest in the coconut generated due to the awareness of people about the possible hazards from soft drinks and the promotional measures taken by government have contributed to the growth of market for tender coconut water. Value - added products presents an opportunity for intensifying and building on past research and development work. Coconut water is one of the world's most versatile natural product with increasing scientific evidence that support the role of coconut water in health and medicinal application. Medicinally, it has been proven to possess various pharmacological activities like hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, wound healing, anti thrombotic, antioxidant, Hypolipidaemic, Antihypertensive, diuretic, hypoglycemic, renal regenerative actions. Over the past decades, many reports have appeared in mainstream scientific journals describing its nutritional and medicinal properties. Glimpse of the classical Ayurvedic texts gives us an insight into the medicinal properties of coconut that is in tune with the scientific findings of today. This review attempts to reiterate and appraise the therapeutic and nutritional values of coconut water. Keywords

Now a day's peoples are completely habituated for cool life or without hard work so this reason causes many diseases. Recently most of the software employees yield for spondilysis, gastritis, heart stroke, brain stroke and paralysis etc. especially throughout world youth suffering with stress condition and money earning pressure and restless work, mechanical life also causes various diseases. Recently in Nalgonda one survey held on brain stroke and kidney failure, paralysis. In that survey as a pharmacist and other doctors are conducted for every 100 persons participated in that 7 members are heart stroke, 5 persons are kidney failure, 3 are paralyzed persons are there. This survey carried at Government hospital, Gollguda, Nalgonda, Telangana. why this ailments are raising means lack of exercise, fast food eating, environmental pollution, restless life, insomnia, companies task pressure on employ along with lot of reasons are there. Keywords

The present communication attempts to evaluate the macroscopy, microscopy, physico-chemical, preliminary phytochemical and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) fingerprint studies of different extracts on the flowers of Justicia adhatoda L. (Adhatoda zeylanica Medicus, A. vasica Nees). Microscopical studies revealed that flowers possess abundant uniseriate, biseriate and multiseriate elongated trichomes, glandular trichomes with bicelled heads, cystoliths in calyx region, light brown tannin content, papillae like out growth, and well developed spongy and palisade parenchyma in corolla region. Preliminary phytochemical screening of the extracts showed the presence of alkaloids, carbohydrates, flavonoides, phenols, proteins, saponins and tannins. These parameters will be useful in the identification and standardization of the flower drug of Vasa and also to identify other species of Adhatoda.

Sesame is a condiment which is used in every household for culinary, religious and medicinal purposes. The present study deals with pharmacognostical and physicochemical evaluation of different varieties (black, white and brown) of Sesame (Sesamum indicum Linn.). The study revealed that the different varieties of Sesame seeds, microscopically shows all most similar characters, however, distribution of oil globules varies only in the case of black variety seeds. Oil globules and reddish contents are more in case of white variety when compared to other brown and black. Comparative study has taken up to identify the different varieties of Sesame with respect to its macroscopy, microscopy and other parameters like physico-chemical, preliminary phytochemical, fluorescence and TLC studies. Keywords

Three simple and sensitive extractive spectrophotometric methods have been described for the assay of Esmolol hydrochloride either in pure form or in pharmaceutical formulations. The developed methods involve formation of coloured chloroform extractable ion-pair complexes of the drug with bromothymol blue (BTB), bromophenol blue (BPB) and bromocresol green (BCG) in acidic medium. The extracted complexes showed absorbances maxima at 415,412 and 412nm with BTB, BPB and BCG respectively. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration ranges 2.5- 25μg/ml for all three dyes. The effect of concentration of dye and pH have been studied and optimized. The limits of detection and quantification have been determined for three methods. All the three methods have been validated as per the guidelines of ICH. The methods have been applied to the determination of drug in commercial tablets and results of analysis were validated statistically through recovery studies. Keywords

Three simple and sensitive extractive spectrophotometric methods have been described for the assay of Ambroxol hydrochloride either in pure form or in pharmaceutical formulations. The developed methods involve formation of coloured chloroform extractable ion-pair complexes of the drug with bromothymol blue (BTB), bromophenol blue (BPB) and bromocresol purple (BCP) in acidic medium. The extracted complexes showed absorbance maxima at 414, 412 and 407nm with use of the cited reagents, respectively. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration ranges 2.5-25, 4.0-30 and 4.0-40μg/ml with BTB, BPB and BCP respectively. The effect of concentration of dye, pH, and interference of excipients have been studied and optimized. The limits of detection and quantification have been determined for three methods. All the three methods have been validated as per the guidelines of ICH. The methods have been applied to the determination of drug in commercial tablets and results of analysis were validated statistically through recovery studies.

Four simple and sensitive extractive spectrophotometric methods have been described for the assay of Tamsulosin hydrochloride either in pure form or in pharmaceutical formulations. The developed methods involve formation of colored chloroform extractable ion-pair complexes of the drug with bromothymol blue (BTB), bromophenol blue (BPB), bromocresol purple (BCP) and bromocresol green (BCG) in acidic medium. The extracted complexes showed absorbance maxima at 415 nm for all four methods. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration ranges 2.5-25, 2.5-25, 2.0 - 25 and 2.5 - 25. μg/ml with BTB, BPB, BCP and BCG, respectively. The effect of concentration of dye, pH, and interference of excipients have been studied and optimized. The limits of detection and quantification have been determined for four methods. A simple, specific, accurate and precise high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the determination of Amlodipine and Atorvastatin in Amlodipine besylate and Atorvastatin tablet dosage forms. A Hypersil BDS C18 5 μm (250×4.6 mm I.D) with column temperature 30°C in isocratic mode, with mobile phase containing Acetonitrile:10 mM Ammonium acetate buffer pH 4.0 (50:50) was used. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and effluent was monitored at 238 nm.The retention time of Amlodipine was 2.5 min and for Atorvastatin was 4.7 min. The linearity for Amlodipine and Atorvastatin was in the range 0.02 mg/mL to 0.12 mg/mL. The proposed method is accurate, precise, specific and rapid estimation of Amlodipine and Atorvastatin in Amlodipine besilate and Atorvastatin tablets. Keywords
