Abstract

The 'Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar' seeks to empower the farmer by providing all solutions under one roof. 'A Mall for Farmers' that ensures last mile delivery of relevant and current farm technology, the entire range of agri and non agri products, farm fuels, output buy back of farmers' products etc. leading to increase in productivity and profitability. Centres are IT enabled capturing critical data relevant to farmers, providing inputs about market prices, including access to weather forecast and latest technical knowledge. Hariyali is assisting in Providing Urban Amenities to Rural Areas (PURA), Aggregation of Farm Produce and the use of IT. Such efforts are further strengthened at the national&international levels by banks, IFFCO, IT industries, nutrient experts for hybrid, farming first, WQM run by ACIAR&DWR, CSISA run by IRRI&CYMMIT, IFAD, ASDD, EADN&CSFD programs. The case study highlights Hariyali as an innovative business model which can be a catalyst for the social change and inclusive growth as well as additional efforts which can be supported with Public-Private Partnership. Consecutively, it would enhance unique rural capability to address fragmentation in agriculture, improve income levels, living standards of the farming community, while being a commercially sustainable business in national growth.

Abstract

For the improvement in underwater acoustic sensor networks, vector based technique is used to increase the efficiency of network and reduce the chances of link failure. It is also improve robustness and scalability of the network. Underwater acoustic are used sensor nodes and autonomous vehicles to communicate from one place to another under the ocean and also used a surface station. They create a link to on-shore control center. UANs are different from terrestrial networks. These are used in different fields like military and commercial fields. Underwater networks are connected with number of vehicles and sensors which are used to monitor the underwater activities. This paper evaluates the research problems of underwater acoustic networks like energy consumption and different layers are used to solve the issues which occur in UANs.

Abstract

Objective: To ascertain the authenticity of Boeravinone-B in Boerhaavia diffusa and its poly-herbal dosage form (capsule) by identification and quantification through precise and robust HPLC method. Materials and Methods: The RP-HPLC analysis was accomplished employing phosphate buffer & acetonitrile as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.5 ml/min and 270 nm as detection wavelength. Results: The content of Boeravinone B in ingredients (hydro-alcoholic extracts of whole plant) and poly-herbal formulation of B. diffusa was estimated as 0.041 % w/w and 0.011 % w/w, respectively with good linearity R2> 0.9997 and retention time 24.413± 0.004 min. Conclusion: The amount of Boeravinone- B present in B.diffusa extracts of raw drug complies with that of reported in literature. Quantification of Boeravinone-B suggested an identification mark for this drug and its different market formulations and may work as quality parameter in standardization. On the basis of percentage of Boeravinone-B the content of B.diffusa in poly-herbal formulation validate the ratio of ingredient in final formulation. This method proved its applicability in quality assessment via quantification of this marker in raw material as well as various phyto-formulations of B.diffusa and widens the acceptability criteria at international level.
