Mobile traffic is increasing rapidly as the number of mobile subscribers are increasing everyday. This results in uneven traffic in certain areas. Load balancing is a complex problem with dynamically varying inputs and outputs. This complex system is difficult to be modeled with conventional mathematical tools/methods.We use a multilayer recurrent neural network to model this problem. Backpropagation algorithm is used to train this multilayer recurrent neural network. Initially, the network is trained with previous mobile traffic data and tested for different traffic conditions.It is found to predict the loads in the base stations. This information helps in balancing the load on the base station by borrowing channels from an appropriate base station.

During peak traffic hours, mobile subscriber’s calls are getting blocked due to lack of free channels. Mobile subscribers who are desperately trying for successful connection go in for a number of retries. This leads to additional burden on the congested network. There is a need to reduce the number of retries, load and congestion on the mobile network. In this paper, a new Reminder service scheme is proposed. This scheme reminds the registered subscriber to call whenever channels become free. This service helps in preventing congestion from reaching a threshold which in turn may destabilize the network. We can streamline the traffic by reducing the number of retries and improve the efficiency. This scheme helps in ensuring a reliable and stable cellular mobile network. Simulation results also confirm this.

Mobile communications has enabled people to communicate using new and innovative methods. There is no restriction of place and people are able to connect with others both privately and for business needs. This has brought unprecedented choice and freedom. Mobile technologies have in a mere decade surpassed the number of users that it has taken more than a century to reach as this is the most cost effective form of communication. Recent advances in mobile network technologies have brought about a significant increase in available bandwidth, thus paving way for the transition from voice only mobile services to web based content services. These new services will broaden the communication modes from one-on-one to one on many and many on many. With the subscriber base increasing, mobility will be a key parameter for all communications. Today, with the convergence of communication,mobility, Internet and information technology, Multimedia mobile communications has emerged as a forerunner.
This paper investigates Mobile Computing, its history, uses,constraints, technology, problems, research challenges and approaches to solutions in the design of mobile computing. This also discusses the research work done in respect of the problem,applications of mobile computing, its merits and demerits.

Background/Objectives: Minimizing power consumption and improve the quality of service in the data centre investigates the power consumption in various devises IaaS in cloud computing environment. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Overall, a total of ninety-one studies from 2013 to 2015 have been reviewed in this paper. However, tenth studies are selected that focused on the energy efficient concepts used in the research. Findings: From the study the energy plays a major role in the data centre and it has become a big issue for the Information Technology (IT) field and the businessmen. Power is most important in the world with limited resources of energy. Energy efficiency in the environment of cloud has always been a key concern for the design and cost of maintaining the data centres. Virtualization reduces the complexity for enabling an efficient way to use the computing power and improve the Quality of service in data centre. In this work, Xen server is used to compute the power and find the efficiency, power consumption for the size of 10 different nodes are connected to the workload condition by allocating Virtual Machine (VMs) to the server using open stack net and process the workload performance in the data centre has been considered. The experimental results expose that VM selection process works through the energy reduced by up to 35% on the impact. Application/Improvements: The review of Minimizing Power Consumption and Improve the Quality of Service in the Data Centre will investigate power consumption in infrastructure level in cloud computing helps researchers to analyze different algorithm techniques for future research directions.Keywords
