The last decade has been witness to phenomenal growth in endodontic technology. The introduction of these new technologies has resulted in endodontics becoming easier, faster and most importantly, better. NiTi alloys overall are softer than stainless steel, are not heat treatable, have a low modulus of elasticity (about one fourth to one fifth that of stainless steel) but a greater strength, are tougher and more resilient, and show shape memory and superelasticity. The latter two properties are the main reasons why NiTi alloys have succeeded in endodontics. The purpose of this article is to review the design features of different rotary instruments used for pulp space preparation. Important mechanical features include the variability of taper, rake angle, crosssectional geometry, tip configuration, design of blades, helical angle and pitch. These design features influence flexibility, cutting efficiency and safety. In this review, design features of commonly used NiTi rotary systems are summarized. Keywords

Nickel titanium rotary shaping files fundamentally changed everything in endodontics; conceptually, procedurally and economically as well. NiTi rotary files made ischolar_main canal therapy more accessible and kind of fun for dentists, and dental companies were loved for making files that cost four times more than stainless steel hand files but delivered a ten times improvement. The single file systems need no disinfecting, cleaning, sterilizing and organizing the NiTi files, provide optimal cutting efficiency along with better control of file breakage and thus increased patient safety and no risk for cross contamination. Keywords

The article attempts to understand the issues and challenges faced by the banking sector in implementing the bancassurance business model by using interview-based methodology. The study includes the challenges faced by supply side, that is, the banks or insurance’s perspective. There have been prior researches on the issues and challenges existed but either from the customer’s point of view or in general. The major issues and challenges that banks face include lack of awareness of customer, long-term vision, trust-high competition, different objective of partners, marketing-distribution channels, capital allocation, training and knowledge of staff, and complication of multiple tie-ups. On the other hand, trends in bancassurance include sales through multiple channels, telemarketing as the direct channel, bundling, digitalization, and multi tabs. Keywords
