The knowledge of the types of biomolecules present in Ayurvedic medicines can help in understanding the underlying mechanism of action of such medicines. This type of study is very pertinent and being sought after in the present day medical scenario, which needs newer and better approaches of treatment. The present study deals with the GC MS analysis of one such Ayurvedic medicine, Amritarishtam, which is used for the treatment of all types of fevers. The medicines was procured from standard Ayurvedic vendor at Chennai and subjected to GC MS analysis after following proper procedures. The GC MS profile indicated the presence of 12 biomolecules, such as, Phenylethyl Alcohol, Ethyl Hydrogen Succinate, 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural, Thymol, Ethanone,1-(2-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-, Hexadecanoic acid,2-hydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl)ethyl ester and Ocatadecanoic acid,2,3-dihyroxypropyl ester which have medicinal values relating to that of Amritarishtam. Further work to isolate the molecules and understand their role is in process.Keywords

The present study of GC MS analysis of one Ayurvedic formulation, Khadirarishtam, was undertaken to know the types of biomolecules present in it. This medicine is used to treat chronic skin ailments. The GC MS profile of Khadirarishtam indicated the presence of some important biomolecules such as Eucalyptol, Phnylethyl alcohol, Ethyl hydrogen succinate, .alpha.-Terpineol, 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural, Acetic acid, chloro-,3-phenylpropyl ester, Eugenol, Benzeethanol,4-hydroxy-, Propanoic acid, anhydride, Benzoic acid, 4-hydroxy-, Disulphide, methyl (methylthio)phenylmethyl, Hexadecnoic acid, 2-hydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl) ethyl ester, Octadecanoic acid and 2,3-dihydropropyl ester etc. These biomolecules have been reported to have the medicinal properties which represent those of Khadirarishtam. Further study to establish the molecular mechanism of these compounds is warranted.Keywords

The present study deals with the GC MS analysis of one Ayurvedic prepaation, Vasakadyarishtam, which is a mucolytic medicine used for the treatment of cough, cold, chest congestion asthma and related diseases like bronchitis, inflammation and hemoptysis. The most important constituent of this medicine is Vasaka or Adhatoda vesika plant, which is known for its anti-cough and cold usage in Ayurveda. This study was to understand the main biomolecules present in this medicine by GC MS analysis. The results indicted the presence of some important molecules such as Eucalyptol, Phenylethyl alcohol, Camphor, Ethyl hydrogen succinate, Succinic acid, cyclobutyl ethyl ester, 3-Cyclohexen-1-ol,4-methyl-(1-methylethyl)-(R)-,. alpha.-Terineol, 5- Hydroxymethyl furfural, p-Anisic acid,4-nitrophenyl ester, 2-Propen-1-0l,3-phenyl, Benzeneethanol, 4-hydroxy- Propiophenone, 2‘-(trimethylsioxy)-, Hexadecanoic acid, 2-hydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl)ethyl ester and Octadecanoic acid and 2,3 –dyhydroxypropyl ester. These molecules are known for their various medicinal properties which indicate their roles in this formulation.Keywords

Aragwadharishtam is an Ayurvedic preparation used mainly to detoxify the body. Its main use is in the cure of skin diseases, ulcers and piles. The present study deals with the GC MS analysis of Aragwadharishtam to know the presence of phytochemicals present in this medicine. The GC MS profile indicated the presence of some very important molecules such as Phnylethyl alcohol, Ethyl hydrogen succinate, Butanedioic acid diethyl ester, 4-Ethyl-2-hydroxycyclopent-2-en-1-one, Eugenol, Ethyl gallate, 1,2,3- Benzenetriol, Benzeethanol,4-hydroxy-, Hexadecanoic acid, 2-hydroxy -1-(hydroxymethyl) ethyl ester and Octadecanoic acid, 2,3-hydroxypropyl ester etc. These molecules have a number of important medicinal roles which could substantiate their participation towards the medicinal activity of Aragwadharishtam as a detoxifying formula as claimed by Ayurveda. However, further work in this direction is warranted to prove the medicinal efficacy of the medicine.Keywords

To assess the pattern of the depression among adolescents in an urban area of Kancheepuram district, Tamil Nadu. WHO says adolescence occurs in every human growth and it happens after childhood and before adulthood during the age of 10 to 19. Adolescence is a transitional developmental period characterized by pronounced biological as well as social changes. It represents one of the critical transitions in the life span of a human being and is characterized by a tremendous pace in growth and change that is second only to that of infancy. The process of adolescence is a period of preparation for adulthood. The world has 1.2 billion individuals in the age group of 10-19 years. Adolescents aged between 10 to 19 years account for more than one-fifth of the world’s population. South Asia is home to nearly 340 million adolescents. In India, this age group covers 241 million (21.4%) of the total population.Keywords

Introduction: Approximately 5 percent of thyroid cancers happen in all thyroid nodules, regardless of their size. PTC is the most prevalent type of thyroid cancer in all thyroid cancers. Although it is hard to distinguish PTC from benign papillary hyperplasia of the thyroid gland on the basis of its morphology, it is essential to distinguish benign ones from malignant ones for early therapy and better patient management. Although the diagnostic and prognostic values of Ki-67/MIB-1 in thyroid cancer stay uncertain, it has been noted that Ki-67/MIB-1 has an impact.
Materials and Method: 60 gross samples have been taken for research. These biopsy samples were regularly fixed in 10% formalin and processed in paraffin wax. Five micron dense parts were sliced and drawn for research and hematoxylin and eosin staining of the parts was performed. Histopathological examination of these segments has been carried out. The immunohistochemistry survey using Ki-67 monoclonal antibody as a proliferation marker was conducted in 60 cases. The current survey was conducted to determine the function of ki-67 in distinct kinds of neoplastic and non-neoplastic thyroid lesions.
Results: Mean Ki67 LI values in our research were 14.12 ± 2.29, 61.42 ± 3.77 and 34.90 ± 3.49 and 18.60 ± 1.96 for PTC, FTC, FTA and NG, respectively. In this research, numerous group comparisons were made using the Bonferroni post-hoc test, and Ki-67 values were discovered to be statistically important among all thyroid lesions.
Conclusion: Although the Ki-67 marker is costly, it was discovered to be very simple to conduct and to get better outcomes. It is therefore found that the Ki-67 marker is suggested to be used in instances of dubious capsular and/or vascular invasion and follicular lesions with questionable nuclear characteristics.

ICTACT Journal on Image and Video Processing, Vol 13, No 3 (2023), Pagination: 2928-2933Abstract
The two-stage lightweight transformer methodology can now be used for underwater object detection thanks to some small adjustments that have been made to it. These adjustments were made to accommodate the needs of the underwater environment. By utilising multi-scale training, making enhancements to the backbone network of the Faster RCNN, and optimising the model response to both positive and negative examples, with an emphasis on the latter, we can achieve significant gains. The enhanced lightweight transformer method has been shown to be effective through the utilisation of comparative experiments which demonstrate that the network module may be utilised in the method to serve as the feature extraction structure. This has been shown to be the case thanks to the fact that the enhanced lightweight transformer method has been shown to be effective. We first disassemble the entire system to break it down into its component components before running the detection algorithm and the ablation tests. We can perform additional tests regarding the efficiency of the object detection algorithm for lightweight transformers. When compared to the unimproved lightweight transformer technique, the F1 result is rapidly approaching 99%, which represents a substantial leap forward in terms of quality. This contributes to demonstrating that the methods that were recommended are effective.Keywords
