The present paper examined the relation between achievement motivation and adjustment among students. The sample was composed of 400 students (200 boys and 200 girls) from various schools of dtstrict Hisar, Haryana. The Achievement Motivation Scale by Dr. V.P. Bhargava and Adjustment Scale by Asthana were used to assess the level of achievement motivation and adjustment among students. The Product Moment Correlation Method was used to analyze the results. The results indicated that there was significant relation in achievement motivation and adjustment among students.Keywords

This is a study of Organizational Stress in relation to Job Satisfaction and General Health of Professional Women. In the present study an attempt was made to find out what is the effect of organizational stress, job satisfaction and general mental health on professional women's life. In the present investigation. women professionals were the field of study. As per sample for tins work, 400 women police personnals from police organization of Haryana state were taken up on the basts of stratified random sampling techniques. In that research three test were administrated individually on professional Women, In that research questionnare including the Organizational Stress questionnare developed by Shailendra Singh, The Job Satisfaction scale is developed by O.S. Rathore and the GHQ-12 is developed by David Goldberg. The data of 400 women professionals was analysed by calculating 'coefficient of correlation (r), and Y test besides the descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation). In order to find out the relationship between organizational stress, job satisfaction and general health, coefficient of correlation was applied. Independent sample f test was used to find the significance of difference between the mean scores of between organizational stress, job satisfaction and general health. We have seen the result for interaction to each other independent variables on organizational stress, job satisfaction and general health, so we can say that most of interaction have significant relationship between organizational stress job satisfaction and general health. Ace. To findings, the professional women who have high job satisfaction, and low organizational stress they have good general health, and they are less prone to the mental health problems.Keywords

The present study is designed to investigate into various aspects of teacher effectiveness and the effect role conflict on it. This study is a Comparative Study of Teacher's Effectiveness among Government and Private Teachers in Relation to Role Conflict. The present study was conducted on a sample of 200 teachers who are working in government and private school and colleges. Age range of teachers in 25-50. The sample was collected from the Hisar, Rohtak and Siwain Districts of State Haryana. Teacher Effectiveness Scale and Role Conflict Scale are used for data collection. In the present study, Mean, S.D., T-Test, Pearson Product Moment several basic statistical measures were used for describing and analyzing mass data ma meaningful way. (i) Mean and SDs were worked out to describe the nature of data, (ii) f test was applied to test the significance of different groups. (Hi) to study the relationship between different variables, co-efficient of correlation was worked out. The findings indicated that Role conflict is negatively correlated with Academic achievement, professional management, social area. Role conflict is positvely correlated with emotional aspect, moral aspect, personality.Keywords

The present research aims to determine the mediating role of Job satisfaction between the leader’s emotional intelligence and Organisational Engagement of teachers and also the relation of emotional intelligence of the group leaders with Employee Job Satisfaction and Organizational Engagement. Group leaders here means Top management in educational institutions. This research will try to bridge up the research gap and add to empirical findings in the particular field. The survey is conducted using the survey questionnaire specially designed for the purpose of exploring the relation between emotional intelligence, Job satisfaction and Organisational engagement. Questionnaires were distributed to 200 teachers working in different educational institutions in Delhi-NCR Region and 128 questions were analyzed. A 36-questions survey, which incorporates the parts of Emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and Organisational Engagement was completed to search the relationship among these factors. Some essential questions about personal details likewise included. To analyze the data, Multiple regression analysis was used. It was found Job Satisfaction mediates significantly between leader’s Emotional Intelligence and Organisational Engagement.Keywords

Institutional investments have acquired a significant role in the Indian securities market. This study investigates the trading behaviour of foreign institutional investors (FIIs) in relation to Indian stock market returns as proxied by CNX Nifty and also analyses the interrelationship between both the returns and the investment patterns. The purpose of this paper is to inspect the direction of causal relationship between foreign institutional investment stock market returns in the Indian context. Various econometric tools like Unit ischolar_main test, Regression analysis and Granger Causality test have been used for the analysis. The results revealed that there exists a Uni- directional causality from FII ratio of investment to Nifty returns representing Indian stock market return. In general, the FIIs seem to be following the Indian stock market returns. The analysis on the basis of simple regression model reveals that there exists a bi-directional causality between FIIs investments and Nifty returns. It confirms the applicability of Price pressure hypothesis as well as Feedback trading hypothesis in Indian stock market return.Keywords

Medicine Prescription Behaviour (MPB) is a doctor’s decision for a specific drug/medicine of a pharmaceutical company. Doctors consider several factors in their evaluation process while selecting a particular drug. The transfer of information to doctors, especially through detailing by Medical Representatives (MRs), is a crucial element of pharmaceutical marketing. New drugs are introduced in the market very frequently because of rapid change in preferences and prescription patterns of doctors. Therefore, understanding shift in doctors’ desires regarding selection of a particular drug give opportunities to proactive pharmaceutical companies to increase their market share by timely anticipating doctors' preferences. This paper seeks to identify the influence of level of knowledge, kind of information, communication skills and frequent visit of MRs on three aspects of MPB; early prescription of new drugs, cost of drugs and habitual aspect. Testable hypotheses were developed with respect to MPB and a survey questionnaire was designed to capture data from 150 doctors practicing in Delhi. The hypotheses were tested using Multiple Regression and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The study concluded that the knowledge, kind of information, communication skills and professionalism factor of MRs influence doctors towards early prescription of new drugs and their habitual behaviour towards prescription of drugs. The study concluded that knowledge and the kind of information given by MRs are significant predictors of cost aspect of MPB of doctors.Keywords

Spasmodic Dysphonia is a chronic long-term voice disorder, with a very rare incidence of 1 per 100,000 cases in which the movement of vocal cords is both forced and strained resulting in hoarse, quivery and jerky voice. We present a very rare and interesting case of spasmodic Dysphonia that was adequately relaxed after administration of muscle relaxants but had undue contractions of adductor group of muscles at the level of vocal cords. Little is known about the genetic basis of the disease but symptoms improve when the kinetic output of the laryngeal muscles is reduced either by unilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve section, or by botulinum injections into the affected muscles.

Teachers of today spend a big portion of their lives at work. As a result, friendships grow between/among them at work. Previous research has found that workplace friendship serves a range of beneficial roles for both individuals and companies. Increased communication, respect, security, and trust among colleagues are facilitated by workplace friendships. In the education business, these rewarding benefits have significant ramifications for employees’ job-related results. Many academics have looked into the various aspects that influence organisational commitment (OC). Only few studies have looked at the impact of workplace friendship on both organisational commitment and turnover intentions. Thus, the purpose of this research was to look at the direct impact of friendship at workplace on teacher organisational commitment and turnover intentions. A total of 98 teachers from higher education institutions in Mathura participated in the study. The data collected was analysed using regression analysis. This research gives useful insights into how educational institutions might strengthen organisational commitment and lower turnover intentions by developing workplace friendship, by stressing the influence of workplace friendship on organisational commitment and teacher’s turnover intentions.Keywords
