Power quality management for a hybrid power system (solar and wind power) is done by fuzzy logic using a seven level cascaded multilevel inverter is proposed here. The implementation of the seven level cascaded inverter is to maintain the THD level of the power system with in IEEE standard (5%). The hybrid scheme comprises one set of rectifier unit which is connected to the wind system. PV voltage and rectifier voltage is given as input to the seven level inverter. The proposed inverter reduces the switching loss complexity, size and cost. The PWM signals are originated by using FL controller. MPPT algorithm is implemented to improve the voltage of PV panel. The inverted three phase voltage is obtained by functioning the FL membership functions which helps in maintaining the harmonics level below 5%. The fuzzy logic technique has been encouraged in the field of research of converter, motor drives and other intelligent controllers. This process has quick access and it is simpler to integrate. Mamdani model of FL has enhanced in this paper to give linear output when compared to Tsukeno model. Fuzzy logic controller was developed and verified for three phase systems using the simulink MATLAB 2009a in which the components are arranged according to the circuit required. In MATLAB based defuzzification centroid method of fuzzification is done to defuzzify.

Objectives: This paper is aimed to find a multiplier to provide a physically compact high speed and low power consumption unit. Being a core part of arithmetic processing unit multipliers are in extremely high demand on its speed and low power consumption. Multiplier plays an important role in today’s digital image processing and various other applications. Methods/Statistical Analysis: In modern embedded electronics devices, power consumption is a first-class design concern. Hardware-level approximation mainly targets arithmetic units, such as adders and multipliers, widely used in portable devices to implement multimedia algorithms, e.g., image and video processing. Findings: Compressor has 5 inputs A, B, C, D and Cin to create 3 outputs Sum, Carry and Cout. The 4 inputs A, B, C and D and the output Sum has identical weight. The input Cin is output from a preceding lower widespread compressor and the Cout output is for the compressor inside the next significant level. Application/Improvements: The approximation multiplier is used to improve the speed and efficiency. It is used to reduce the area and time consumption. It is widely used in the digital image processing, FIR filters, reduce the multiplication procedure. Keywords

Dental caries is an irreversible microbial disease of the calcified tissues of teeth, which is characterized by demineralization of inorganic portion and destruction of organic substance of the tooth which often leads to cavitation. It is a multifactorial disease. Among the various microorganism Streptococcus mutans considered to be chief etiological agent. Immune therapy against this microorganism to curtail this widespread disease has gained interest. Passive antibody administration has also been examined for effects on indigenous mutans streptococci. Passive immunotherapy is of interest due to its many advantages. This review briefs on passive immunotherapy. Keywords

Background: Dental caries is an infectious microbiologic disease of the teeth and is one of the most common diseases in humans .It is a multifactorial disease caused by interaction between four principal factors-the host (saliva and teeth), the microflora, the substrate(diet) and the time. Targeting the microbial factor of the disease, researchers have been developing vaccination to protect the caries prone children and adults. Immunization includes active and passive immunization. Vaccines should be safe and effective. This article gives an insight into the shortcomings and challenges of caries vaccinations. Keywords
