This paper presents a new method for blood vessel detection in digital retinal images. This method uses a mathematical morphology scheme for pixel classification and computes segmented blood vessels by using morphological operations. The method proves especially accurate for vessel detection in DIARETDB0 and DIARETDB1 images. Its effectiveness and robustness with different image conditions, together with its simplicity and fast implementation, make this blood vessel segmentation proposal suitable for retinal image computer analyses such as automated screening for early diabetic retinopathy detection. Keywords

Internet of Things (IoTs) is a unique identifier to transfer the data over a network without human-to-human or human-to-machine interaction. It was evolved from the convergence of Wireless technologies, Micro Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) and the internet. Intellectual gateway is used to control home appliances with the help of any internet based devices through web page. To integrate the real-world devices to the web, so they can be easily allow to combined with other virtual and physical resources and creates a novel, standalone, flexible monitoring system. The home automation system differs from other system by allowing the user to operate the system from anywhere around the world through internet connection. The proposed system presents a low cost and flexible home control and monitoring system using an embedded web server, with IP connectivity for accessing and controlling devices and appliances remotely using a web based application. It can be expanded to communication between things them self or device to device communication with the help of novel concept. Keywords

Objective: Designing energy efficient mobile communication system is the main challenge for the LTE researchers due to increasing of users and their demands in accessing broadband services on mobile phones. High data rate, reduced Bit Error Rate (BER) and low Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) are the requirement of the current telecommunication technology in both uplink and downlink. In this paper, various modulations techniques (QPSK, BPSK and QAM) and pre-coding schemes (DPC, THP, and RS) are proposed to analyze the uplink characteristics. Methods/Analysis: This paper investigates Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) and performs its link level models with Tomlinson-Harashima Precoder (THP) and Reed Solomon coding (RS) in separate and integrative manner which is proposed. Findings: In order to prove the hypothetical results, various simulations performed for BER of SC-FDMA system. Results proved that the integration of THP and RS coder in the SC-FDMA transmission, improves the system performance in case of BER. The proposed techniques can be implemented in GPRS, UMTS, GSM, EDGE, HSPA and LTE.Keywords

Now a days in VLSI technology size, power, and speed are the main constraints to design any circuits. In normal multipliers delay will be more and the number of computations also will be more. Because of that speed of the circuits designed with the normal multipliers will be low and it will consume more power. This paper describes Multiply and Accumulate Unit using Vedic Multiplier and DKG reversible logic gates. The Vedic multiplier is designed by using UrdhavaTriyagbhayam sutra and the adder design is done by using reversible logic to perform high speed operations. Reversible logic gates are also the essentialconstraint for the promising field of Quantum computing. The UrdhavaTriyagbhayam multiplier is used for the multiplication function to reduce partial products in the multiplication process and to get high concert and less area. The reversible logic is used to get less power. The MAC is designed using Verilog code, simulation, synthesis is done in both RTL compiler using Xilinx and implemented on Spartan 3e FPGA Board. Keywords
