Abstract
Assessment of dietary intake is the initial step for various types of nutritional investigations. The diet surveys conducted from time to time in various groups of population are done to determine the average dietary intake so that suitable public health measures could be delivered to rectify the effects of deficiency as a result of ill-balanced diet.
