Everyday an individual is faced with multiple hurdles. The only factor that sets apart a winner from the others is how they respond to the situation that presents itself in front of them. Teaching refers to the process of imparting knowledge and skills from a teacher to a learner. It encompasses the activities of educating or instructing. It is an act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. Quality of life (QoL) is the Individuals satisfaction (or dissatisfaction) with the cultural or intellectual conditions under which they live. It is one of the important aspects of individual's life that influences the person's performance and growth. It affects both the personal and professional aspects. Life is full of challenges on a daily basis. With the advent of workplace psychology movement, emphasis has shifted onto study of those variables that enhance the QoL of teachers and researchers are working hard to uncover the relationships between them gender difference in these characteristics is important to be studied to see how people of both sexes respond to various challenging situations. The current study aimed at comparing the QoL of government and non-government secondary school teachers. It was hypothesized that there would be a significant difference in the QoL of government and non-government secondary school teachers. The study reported no significant difference among government and non-government secondary school teachers' social QoL. The study provides an opportunity for further research across age and gender to uncover the possible differences or similarities that may be present. Furthermore, it adds to the already existing data pool with equivocal studies. Keywords

The present qualitative research was conducted in Delhi-NCR using the Children's Apperception Test to study the Psychological Impact of Parental Divorce on Children. A total sample of 20 was taken with an age bracket of 6-10 years. 10 children out of these belonged to intact families and 10 to divorced parents. A thematic analysis was done of the children's responses based on which common themes were derived under the 2 categories, namely-Adaptive Mechanism Schedule and Story Dynamics (as in the original study by Haworth&Lawton) Overall result showed that children are negatively impacted by the divorce of their parents. It has a massive impact on the internal environment of the child as is visible by the predominant usage of unhealthy mechanisms and the frequency of negative responses to define the theme of a story on the test as compared to children who belong to intact families. The results are therefore in line with the hypothesis. Keywords

Learning Disability happens to be a chronic condition of a presumed neurological origin which selectively interferes with the development, integration, and demonstration of verbal and nonverbal abilities. Past experiences reveal that Learning Disability is something that can't be outgrown nor 'cured' by medication, therapy, or expert tutoring. Thus, an individual with Learning Disability gets to face multiple hurdles in day to day life. In order to make like a bit easier for such individuals, this study tries to connect the dots between an individual with LD and the prenatal factors, the delivery conditions, the early schooling environment of his mother. The current study aims at investigating some specific factors common in the history of children with learning disability. The objective of the present research is to understand the causes of learning disability in children and to find out the most dominant factors. This study started with the hypothesis that there would be a positive relationship between mother's bed rest and medication during pregnancy & learning disability. Also early school difficulties of the child and learning disability were expected to be significantly correlated. The study concluded on a positive relationship among mother's bed rest, mother taking medication during pregnancy, early school difficulties of the child and learning disability. Keywords

The study has been undertaken to understand and evaluate the learning disabled students in schools and academic settings. They are mentally stable but face difficulties while reading, writing, mathematics, listening, speaking, and logical reasoning. It was expected and asserted that the successful design of instructional environments with enhanced computer technologies and visualization as educational tools should enhance their learning outcomes and sustain their level of performance in schools and professional careers bringing them at par with every other student with normal reflexive. Intervention with use of colour-highlighted keywords and colour-highlighted key phrases becomes essential to attack the ischolar_main cause. The study proves the fundamental requirement of such strategies with the adoption of special educators reflected in their academic performance. It is noted that students with field-independent cognitive style tend to have the more exceptional analytical and differentiating ability as compared to field-dependent students who tend to view events without considering the details such as accepting an entire phrase without focusing his or her attention on the crucial information. Keywords
