Abstract

Acceptance, forgiveness and gratitude are three protective factors and appear to be as three personal characteristics that have been found to be closely related to psychological well-being. Greater acceptances show better psychological functioning in life. Forgiveness fosters people's ability to deal with psychological stressors higher level of gratitude demonstrated higher level of perceived social support, lower level of stress and depression. The personal qualities that allow one to thrive in the face of adversity, is termed as resilience. This study aimed to examine whether acceptance, forgiveness, and gratitude are significant predictors for resilience among undergraduate students. 150 students are selected for study in one of the college in Hapur. Schedules are used as a research tool, which includes demographic information, acceptance and action Questionnaire-II, Heartland Forgiveness Scale, The Gratitude Questionnaire and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale. Results supported the hypothesis and revealed that, acceptance, forgiveness, and gratitude appear to be significant predictors for resilience among undergraduate students. The three predictors contributed 66% of the total variance of student's resilience model, whereby gratitude illustrates the highest predictive value for resilience, followed by forgiveness and acceptance. The result implies that forgiveness is the key factor to resilience in which forgiveness is essential in order for acceptance to be statistically correlated to resilience.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to provide information about composition and extent of transformation of waste organic matter in open dump site in POTIYA. District Durg. CHHATTISGARH STATE. The studies of the characterization of these municipal solid waste six samples are different depth (0ft, 1ft, 2ft, 3ft, 4ft,5ft). The initial composition of municipal waste was indicated   an N, P, K and trace element-Ca, Mg, Zn, Fe, Cu, Mn. Physical properties pH, EC, salinity, % of moisture, this research works examine the effects of municipal solid waste soil in Potiya, with a view of creating environmental awareness for both the government and the public about the states of various dump site in the district Durg. MSW soil of Potiya has high concentration of N, P, and K high moisture content and high value of micronutrient (Ca, Mg, Zn, Cu, Fe, and Mn) making composting the best treatment strategy. This result indicated that municipal solid waste soil had potential for recovery soil, and its use for soil amendment.

Abstract

The present works were carried out to determine the impact of different municipal solid waste compost (mswc) soil extracts (Tap water, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and distilled water (control) obtained from mswc (degraded soil) and different mixing ratio of mswc and distilled water on the percentage of relative seed germination (RSG%), vigor index, ischolar_main length, shoot length of soya bean (Glycine max). Mung (Vigna radiate,), Lentil (Lens culinaris) were studying by bioassay method. Seeds were sown in plastic pots as randomized completely block design with different concentration of soil extract Tap water, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and distilled water (control). The results after 24, 48, 72, 96 hours showed that seedling of Mung, Lentil and soya bean grown on 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% extracts. The best value of vigor index and RSG%. From the study it is concluded that the increased seedling growth in soil extract is best in high concentration (30%) of degrade soil extract. It is summarized that the increase soil nutrient can be useful in seedling production of Dicotylidon seeds.
