Elastic constants, Debye temperature, Gruneissen parameter, coefficient of thermal expansion, ratio of specific heats, structure factor and micro hardness are calculated for alkaline borate glass mixtures such as Na2O3+B2O3 and as Na2O3+B2O3+SiO2 to study the structural modifications.
