The multilevel inverter reduces the harmonic contents and achieves sinusoidal signals. The hybrid active filter to achieve power quality compensation and active power filter with low power rating is used to filter the other higher order harmonics and power factor can also be improved. Almost near to unity with the help of shunt capacitors this system helps to improve the electrical supply quality. A Multilevel Inverter (MLI) is a power electronic device built to produce a desired A.C voltage from several levels of DC voltages.
Generally unbalanced voltages will occur at supply side these can be eliminated by using multi-level Inverter. Hence increase the efficiency of the system if the system stability problems or power quality issues which needs to be resolved and limited utilization and they operate at relatively low power level with respect to the designed power rating during most of long-term field operations High temperature peaks and variations on switching devices due to the intermittency which accelerates the degradation of the switching devices. To tackle the overloading issue, this system therefore proposes a hybrid power control concept with the objective to improve the system performance and increase the power factor of multilevel inverter and hence MATLAB simulation have been carried out.

Introduction: Assertiveness is the important social skill which promotes personal well-being. Lack of assertiveness leads to lack of confidence, low self-esteem and poor academic performance. Hence the study was conducted with the aim to relate the assertiveness with academic performance. Methods: Non-experimental descriptive study was chosen to conduct a study in selected arts and Science College with 60 samples. The tools used for the study was Assertiveness scale and Academic performance scale. Results: The results revealed that out of 60 samples, 4(6.7%) were situationally assertive, 26(43.3%) were somewhat assertive, 30(50%) were assertive. In assessing the academic performance 23(38.3%) had good performance, 34(56.7%) had moderate performance, and 3(5%) had poor performance. The study findingalso shows that there is a positive relationship between the level of assertiveness and academic performance. Conclusion: The present study concluded that there is a lack of assertiveness among students which directly or indirectly affect their academic performance of the students. It is necessary that every school or college should provide the assertive training program to face the challenges and cope up with the current situation in the world. Keywords

Objectives: To compare the effectiveness of Nutri Haemball with amla and without amla among female college students. Material and Methods: Quantitative approach, experimental design was adopted to compare the effectiveness of Nutri Haemball with and without amla among female college students (Experimental group I - 30 samples and Experimental group II - 30 samples) studying in Ganga Institution of Health Sciences, Coimbatore who fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Samples were selected through purposive sampling technique. Pre-test haemoglobin level was evaluated and Nutri Haemball with amla for Experimental group I and Nutri Haemball without amla for Experimental group II was administered for a period of 4 weeks and post-test level of haemoglobin level was analysed. Results: The post-test mean haemoglobin score of Experimental group I and II was 10.98 with SD of 2.05 and 9.19 with SD of 0.84. The calculated unpaired t value (t = 4.434) of pre-test and post-test leves of haemoglobin indicates that the statistical difference was high at p<0.001 among female college students. Conclusion: The result stated that the Nutri Haemball was effective in increasing haemoglobin level among female college students and can be further utilized as a measure for preventing Nutritional anaemia (Iron Deficiency Anaemia). Keywords
