The selection of proper potting mixture for Eucalyptus hybrid seedlings was carried out with various combinations of compost, soil, sand, coal pebbles, Teak seed husk, rice husk and saw dust. Seedlings height and ischolar_main collar development were observed. The best results were obtained for potting mixture of compost, sand and soil in ratio 2 : 1 : 2.- Polytube : a Low Cost Alternative for Root-Trainer

Quality seedlings are an important ingredient for raising good plantations and to increase the productivity. Root-Trainer technology for raising seedlings is world wide appreciated, but this requires a heavy capital investment. India being a poor country cannot afford such capital investments. An alternative for ischolar_main-trainer, the Polytubes are suggested whose performance is found to be more or less same. The capital investment in Polytube nursery is much less than that of a ischolar_main-trainer nursery.- Role of Remote Sensing and GIS for Handling Environmental Issues in Chhattisgarh State

As per current scenario in Chhattisgarh state there are several environmental problems which creating environmental imbalance. Few of the prominent problems are continuous increase of temperature due setup of power plants, improper management of waste, sewerage problem, air pollution, improper management of residential colonies, water wastage, land misuse etc. These problems can be rectified up to certain extent with the use of remote sensing satellite from which data can be received and analyzed to find the proper solution of environmental problem to make environmental problem free state. Most of the problems cover large geographical areas that will generate various local problems also in which GIS provides a best tool to proper handle. Establishment of Power plants are the main reason of thermal imbalance in Chhattisgarh which can be monitored and controlled by GIS data's.Keywords

In this study, shape optimisation of steel pedestals are attempted using neural network. Considering different geometrical parameters, finite element analyses of pedestals are carried out. Using these results, a back propagation neural network is trained. Successfully trained networks is further used for shape optimisation of newer problems. Thus optimised pedestals are further validated with finite element analyses counterparts and found to be in close match. Keywords

Numerical analysis of Partial Differential Equations (PDE's) of the solid mechanics using Finite Element Method (FEM) is very popular. One issue which is haunting the finite element solution is the computer time. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using fine mesh and large number of nodes consumes lot of solution time. To overcome this difficulty, a hybrid Neuro-FEM is proposed. FEM solutions considering coarse mesh is used for training neural networks which is further employed for finer predictions. The proposed methodology is successfully employed on a cantilever beam problem. Keywords

A Wireless ad-hoc network is a temporary network set up by wireless mobile computers (or nodes) moving arbitrary in the places that have no network infrastructure. Since the nodes communicate with each other, they cooperate by forwarding data packets to other nodes in the network. Thus the nodes find a path to the destination node using routing protocols. However, due to security vulnerabilities of the routing protocols, wireless ad-hoc networks are unprotected to attacks of the malicious nodes. One of these attacks is the Black Hole Attack against network integrity absorbing all data packets in the network. Since the data packets do not reach the destination node on account of this attack, data loss will occur. In this research paper we modify the working of AODV routing protocol to prevent black hole attack. So we investigate the performance impact of a blackhole attack on a mobile ad hoc network and compare it with our modified AODV routing protocol. The simulation work is carried out by OPNET Modeler. To analyze performance of our proposed algorithm we use performance metrics ex. Network throughput, network load, packet send and received, packet dropped and end-to-end delay. Keywords
