Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) is a childhood behavioral problem characterized by constant disobedience and hostility. Around one in 10 children under the age of 12 years are thought to have ODD, with boys outnumbering girls by two to one.ODD is one of a group of behavioral disorders known collectively as disruptive behavior disorders, which include conduct disorder (CD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Early intervention and treatment is important, since children with untreated ODD may continue to be difficult and antisocial into their adult years. This can impact on their relationships, career prospects and quality of life. Some children with ODD will develop the more serious conduct disorder (CD), which is characterized by aggressive law-breaking and violent behaviors. Keywords

Introduction: Consanguineous marriages are a common practice in the Middle East, Asian and African populations. Many studies have stated an association between first cousin marriages and the incidence of autosomal recessive diseases and congenital malformations. The objectives of the study were 1) To assess the existing knowledge regarding effects of consanguineous marriage on offspring among young adults. 2) To determine the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding effects of consanguineous marriage on offspring among young adults.
Methods: A pre-experimental and descriptive evaluatory research approach was used with one group pre-test post-test design to evaluate the effectiveness of the STP .This study was conducted on 60 young adults.
Results: In pre-test, majority of the young adults 39(65%) had inadequate knowledge, followed by 18 (30%) had moderate knowledge and only 3 (5%) had adequate knowledge. In post-test, majority of the young adults 30(50%) had moderate knowledge, followed by 28 (46.67%) had high knowledge and only 2(3.33%) had inadequate knowledge.
Conclusion: The major findings revealed that structured teaching programme enhanced the knowledge of the young adults on effects of consanguineous marriage on offspring. The overall mean percentage of post-test knowledge scores of the young adults 76.31% is apparently higher than the overall mean percentage of pre-test knowledge score 53.75% and is significant at 0.05% level. Paired 't' =16.25, p<0.05 indicating that the STP was effective in gaining knowledge of the young adults on effects of consanguineous marriage on offspring.

Organizational change is an essential concept to understand in our complex world. It is both the process in which an organization changes its structure, strategies, operational methods, technologies, or organizational culture to affect change within the organization and the effects of these changes on the organization. Organizational change can be continuous or occur for distinct periods of time. A systematic approach to Organizational Change Management is beneficial when change requires people throughout an organization to learn new behaviors and skills. By formally setting expectations, employing tools to improve communication and proactively seeking ways to reduce misinformation, stakeholders are more likely to buy into a change initially and remain committed to the change throughout any discomfort associated with it.Keywords

Introduction : A teaching method comprises the principles and methods used for instruction. Commonly used teaching methods may include lecture, demonstration, video assisted teaching or combinations of these. The choice of teaching method to be used largely depends on the information or skill that is being taught, and it may also be influenced by the aptitude and enthusiasm of the students. Objectives - 1)To assess the practice score of second year B.Sc. Nursing students [group 1] on bag technique after video assisted teaching using checklist. 2) To assess the practice score of second year B.Sc. Nursing students [group 2] on bag technique after lecture cum demonstration using the practice checklist. 3.) To compare the practice scores of video assisted teaching method on bag technique with lecture cum demonstration method. Methods - The investigators developed a conceptual frame work which was based on cognitive learning theory. A Evaluative Research Approach was used Quasi Experimental research design [only posttest research design] was used. The tool used for the data collection was observational checklist which comprised 18 steps of bag technique. The sample was 40 students from Second year B.Sc. Nursing students & were divided into two groups of 20 Data gathered was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics in terms of frequency, mean, standard deviation, paired ‘t ’ test and independent ‘t ’ test. Result-the major finding of the study were: Regarding the existing practice of the B.Sc. nursing students there was a maximum students had good practice bag technique. The overall mean of the video assisted teaching practice score of B.Sc. nursing second year students 14.95 is apparently. The level of practice were seen in four categories, poor average, good and excellent of B.Sc. nursing second year students in video assisted teaching 1(5%) has poor level to practice, 6 (30%) has average level of practice, 11(55%) has good level of practice and 2(10%) has excellent level of practice and in lecture cum demonstration method 0(0%) has poor level of practice, 11(55%) has average level of practice, 8(40%) has good level of practice, and 2(5%)has excellent level of practice. Conclusion - The major findings revealed that both the method of teachings enhanced the practice of the B.Sc. nursing students on bag technique. Keywords
