Purpose: The present study attempts to highlight the status of open access repositories globally. Methodology: Present study is based on the data gathered from open-DOAR. Data gathered were thoroughly analyzed based on chosen parameters, viz., geographical distribution, software usage, language diversity, operational status, repository type, and subject coverage. Findings: Open access (OA) repositories have witnessed potential growth trends particularly in developed countries. On the other hand, developing countries have also shown promising growth rate of open access repositories. This evidently signifies that these nations have become conscious of the need and importance of OA repositories. However, there is still much wider scope for their growth and development. Research Limitations/Implications: The study highlights status of only 2168 repositories registered in the Open-DOAR (Directory of Open Access Repositories) as on February 8-10, 2012. Future Research: The study provides wider perspective of open access repositories and further, can be enriched by including research facets like, content management policies, and impact of OA repositories on scholarly communication. Keywords

Global entrepreneurship monitor (GEM) in its report in 2013 revealed that India is a nation whose economy is factor driven and not innovation driven. But still entrepreneurs here are continuously coming up with ideas, leading to the creation of such products/services which carry a great competitive advantage for them and thereby helping them to survive in this highly competitive business world. At the same time, this business world is becoming increasingly more complex. We see rapid advances in technology and most critically markets face rising churn and this causes an unprecedented rise in business failures today.
Among many reasons to avoid this failure we recommend the Innovative Entrepreneurship to be the most important factor with which Indian companies can achieve competitive advantage and avoid the likely failures in future. Still Indian economy is factor driven and not innovation driven. So there are great obstacles in its way, due to which India is not able to unleash its innovative entrepreneurial potential to the fullest.
The purpose of this paper is to identify the factors that act as positive forces of the innovative entrepreneurship in Indian scenario. We also focus on identifying the obstacles in the path of the said field and also attempt to identify the ways in which this innovative potential can be realised to the fullest.

The findings of the study evidently reveal that that majority of Social Science students prefer to use print resources compared to e-resources. It is observed that Social Science students are moderately aware about the various types of e-resources which become evident from the fact that only 40-50% of them are aware of e-journals and e-books among the various types of e-resources. On the other hand low level of awareness is witnessed among students about various e-services among Social science students since less than 40% of students are aware about these services. Moreover, the utilization of e-resources and services has also been low among students that may be attributed to lack of awareness among them. So far as the problem faced by students in use of e-resources and services is concerned lack of orientation emerge out to be most potential challenge for the students. Accordingly due to an array of challenges combined with lack of awareness, majority of the students are not satisfied with e-resources and services available in the library. However, despite the fact students have positive perception towards the e-library resources and services which is obvious from the various advantages perceived by the students. In this milieu it is highly recommended that although university libraries strive hard to offer e-resources and services to their users however to put them to use, they need to sensitize the students towards the potential benefits of using e- resources and services through strong orientation programmes besides other suitable techniques. Keywords

The 12th five year plan of India portrays inclusive growth as one of its key objectives. This makes development of rural India a key component for the overall progress. Financial Inclusion Plan (FIP) is a highly effective way to achieve such inclusive growth. As indicated by researchers, the lacunae of policy implementation are the impediments for faster inclusive financial growth in India. Government wants to increase financial inclusion and measure it on the basis of quantitative variables, reasonable attention has not been given to qualitative variables. This study identifies and analyses the qualitative variables which are the possible blockades in the way of financial inclusion. Responses have been collected, with the help of a structured questionnaire, from 206 respondents from the rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir. It is concluded that there is low to moderate level of financial literacy among the prospective beneficiaries and government’s efforts are not sufficient to provide them adequate information. Cumbersome banking procedures, unsuitable products/services, absence of bank branches, illiteracy, social exclusion etc are the other factors that are holding the growth of financial inclusion in India. Keywords

Entrepreneurship has been widely used as a tool of economic development by nations. But in present day highly dynamic and competitive business environment, alone entrepreneurship cannot work. It has to be used along with strategic planning to get the most out of the opportunities available. This calls to integrate the fields of entrepreneurship and strategic management leading to the creation of a new field called strategic entrepreneurship. This not only helps firms to create wealth, enhance shareholders value, provide it with a sustainable competitive advantage but also leads to the economic development of the nations. Since this field is very new, we need to first develop a conceptual base of the same. In this endeavor we present this study as a tool of understanding what all theories and models of strategic entrepreneurship have been proposed so far and how do the various models differ from each other in terms of their contributing dimensions. Keywords

Entrepreneurship is being presented as highly effective instrument for economic development of nations and hence lies at the core of any economy be that developing or developed. Considering present day scenario of high complexity, dynamism, entrepreneurship alone canjust not help. It has to be used along with strategic management to get the most out of the opportunities available. This leads to the creation of a new field of study strategic entrepreneurship. It not only helps firms to create wealth, enhance shareholders value, provide it with a sustainable competitive advantage but also leads to the economic development of the nations. This paper aims to study strategic entrepreneurship in light of the various studies that have been conducted so far since the inception of this concept in the year 2001. The review suggests that most of the studies in this domain have been mostly conducted in developed nations and least in developing and under developed ones. Also most of the studies have not been able to take any complete stand on what constitutes it and what not. But most important ones considered include: entrepreneurial culture, entrepreneurial mind set, entrepreneurial leadership and strategic management of resources. Keywords
