Work, worker and workplace are the three components of work triangle. The present study focuses on the perception of the female sewing machine operators retarding the different aspects of work. Perception is the awareness of something through the senses. In other words it's the ability to see, hear, understand or become aware of something. Perception is important as it is a physiological process through which everything is this world is interpreted and understood. It is very important to the workers to understand what they actually perceive and understand about their work. That will make their decision power stronger and will ultimately improve their skill and quality of life. The present study was conducted on 80 sewing machine operators to study their perception regarding the different aspects of their work. The perception of the sewing machine operators regarding their work, worker and workplace was assessed by a subjective tool. The subjects were personally interviewed about their opinion on different aspects of work triangle.Keywords

Smart phones have become very useful in many ways. New technologies facilitate one to use mobile as a pocket computer. Using smart phones has become popular and inescapable among people in the modern world. Despite the importance of the adoption of various mobile applications, very little research has been conducted concerning the factors affecting the acceptance of mobile applications by the students of Hisar city. A Pre-structured questionnaire was distributed among students belonging to different colleges of Hisar city. The questionnaire comprised of three sections. Section “A” focused on the users' profile such as gender, age, and study level etc. Section “B” covered the student's awareness and usage of mobile technologies and the Internet. Finally, section “C” examined the purpose and usability of mobile applications with the role and impact of mobile applications in education. The present survey revealed that the role of mobile applications is increasing among students learning. The results indicated that the mobile learning applications can be very useful in the education environment. Furthermore, the results showed that the students had adequate knowledge and awareness to use mobile technology and the internet in the educational environment of their college campus.Keywords

Aging is commonly related to poverty as a result of limited access to financial resources because of retirement or declining health. The high incidence of poverty among the elderly could be a global concern. How much the elderly have is important, but how they use what they have is equally important. This paper focuses on assessing the low level of financial literacy among the elderly in Fatehabad district. The data was collected among 150 elderly people aged 55 to 85 years. Financial literacy was assessed by using a questionnaire with 21 statements. In general, the elderly in the study demonstrated basic financial knowledge associated with financial investments. Results reveal that majority of elderly (60.67%) were belonged to 55-65 years, were male (63.33%), had graduated (47.33%), were retired (50.67%), had a monthly income of the respondents ₹20,000-50,000 and family monthly income ₹50,000- 1,25,000. Living arrangements mostly (36.67%) were with a spouse and family. The male respondents (64.21%) had a medium level of financial literacy as compared to female respondents (25.45%). Further, found that highly significant association with age, education, occupation, respondent monthly income, and family monthly income with financial literacy (p<0.01).Keywords
