Abstract
Viable population of five isolates of Trichoderma harzianum were processedl formulated as prills using CaCl2 and Ca-gluconate (Ca-G) as gellant for increasing shelf life of a biocontrol agent. The results showed that survivability of T. harzianum was higher (60-77 days) when Ca-G was used than when CaCl2 (32-45 days) was used as gellant. Survivability of most isolates was higher when initial population of 109 was used than when it was 106/g of prills.
