Congruences Modulo Powers of 2 for ℓ-Regular Overpartitions

Let Āℓ(n) denote the number of ℓ-regular overpartitions of n. Recently, Shen discovered some congruences modulo 2, 6, 24 for Ā3(n) and modulo 3, 24 for Ā44(n). In this paper, we establish several new congruences modulo powers of 2 for Ā2r (n), where r ≥ 2.
