On q-Valent Starlike Functions-I

The new subclass denoted by S_q (α, β, γ) of q-valent holomorphic functions has been introduced

|zf'(z)/f(z)-q/2ξ(zf'(z)/f(z)-α)-(zf'(z)/f(z)-q)|<β

where 0≤ α <q, O<β≤1,1/2< ξ ≤ 1.

A systematic investigation of this new class of q-valent holomorphic functions has been presented. We have obtained results like representation formula, distortion properties, extreme points and its application.
