The book “Research Methodology” is an attempt to communicate to the novice researcher about the fundamentals of developing a research project, with special emphasis on the various qualitative and quantitative methodologies employed in research in social sciences. The motive of the book is to convey the complexity of the theoretical and operational knowledge of these methodologies in a manner that is comprehensible to the beginners in this area. The author’s vast teaching and research experience comes to the fore in the clarity and crispness with which he explains an elaborate range of issues from the formulation of a research problem to the writing of the research report.
