How Some Small Businesses Get Their Ducks in a Row and Grow While Others Remain Undistinguished

Entrepreneurship is being celebrated as the magic pill to drive innovation, increase employment and help grow economies. Governments across the world are designing and implementing programs to support the growth of entrepreneurship. But starting and running a new start-up and taking it to sustainability and profits is a difficult task. Only a small percentage of startups manage to stay in operation for at least five years. While there are many books that address the information needs of entrepreneurs who start new businesses, there are hardly any books that shed light on the intricacies of working in a startup environment.
