Leadership they say is the ability to reach people emotionally, intellectually and also rationally. A leader is not expected to be a dictator, as today’s world acknowledges those leaders who can reach out to you, not just those who are your guides but those who can walk along with you. According to Robin Sharma, Leadership is a philosophy, an attitude, a state of mind, and it is available to each one of us. It is exhibited in every stage of life. Leadership they say is bringing together and collaborating for the greater good of everyone associated. The general qualities that are associated with the leader are that they must be approachable, articulate, confident, competent, communicative, risk takers, decision makers, change makers, etc. Every organization holds its leader responsible for the ups and downs; hence the picture of leader in all our minds is probably that of a task master.
