The common thread which runs through this book is that Steve Jobs is the most innovative and influential business leader of our time; that he was a visionary; and, that “… he was why Apple is apple and everyone else is everyone else… “The objective of this book is to imbue oneself with the spirit of Steve Jobs. It’s about what one can take away from Steve’s style and success and apply to one’s organization. As such, the book is not meant to cater to a particular reader or audience. Sander mentions at the outset that the book is neither a biography nor a history of Steve. The book is a deliberation on the fundamental six-part business model, which was not limited to Apple per se, but also served as a global model for business excellence.
