The book Many Thin Companies projects the corporate response to what was recorded as one of the worst human tragedies the world has ever seen. It projects a pre- and post-view of management of corporates in the United States of America subsequent to the atrocities of September 11, 2001. Organizations were going through a phase of downsizing and were on a morale boosting spree. The title of this book comes from the size reduction of most of the companies that were badly affected by the tragedy.
