In this paper, an effort has been taken to develop an algorithm for solving Intuitionistic Fuzzy Direct Insignificant Programming Problem (IFLFPP). Here, the cost coefficients in the objective function of IFLFPP are taken as Symmetric Triangular Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers (STriIFNs). The problem has been solved in the crisp environment by using direct ranking function. A numerical example is given to illustrate the importance of the proposed method.
