Abstract
Describes the development of training package to users for an efficient interactive dialogues of the several commercially available on-line retrieval systems. As a part of this program, the design, development and evaluation of training materials, for users of scientific and technical information were undertaken. The training materials consist of printed text, computer assisted learning and practice sequences, emulation of the operational search services, and searchable files of multiple data bases DIALOG and ORBIT search systems are covered.
