Polyaniline as an Emerging Choice for Metal Anti-Corrosion

The anodic protection mechanism of polyanilines on metal anti-corrosion has been confirmed by means of long term investigation on various states of polyanilines at different media, and Polyaniline is especially effective for preventing galvanic corrosion of Fe-Cu couple. With the rocketing zinc price due to the worry on limited zinc resources, the synthetic conducting polyaniline was becoming a new and competitive choice for metal anti- corrosion.
