Economic liberalization has led to rising aspirations among consumers and businesses alike. Consumers are more demanding for products and features comparable to international makes and standards. Businesses have been striving to explore possibilities of expansion in operations on foreign soil to meet consumer expectations in hitherto unknown markets. Entry and running of businesses in an alien environment, however, requires a different skill set.
