Subscribe/Renew Journal
In business world the logistics is a word that defines the elements of necessary in production, movement of goods, distribution of materials and goods around the world. Nowadays the technology is developing in the logistics industry that usually relies with the workers in handling of high- tech information systems on orders and monitor products in the process of supply chain in the industry. In every aspects technology intensely changing entities function in the logistics industry. In this industry the Transportation Management System (TMS) in communication technology covers the applications like the Bluetooth, Global positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) technology increase the efficiency of the work to do. In this paper the development of technology in communication technology on tracking system of GPS and GIS were explained in the logistics industry especially in transportation of goods by roadway and the researcher mainly focuses on the secondary data information on advancement in communication technology on logistics.
