Evaluate the Effectiveness of Nursing Intervention Package on Prevention of Breast Engorgement among Post Caesarean Mothers at selected Hospitals, Mangaluru

The study was done to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing intervention package on prevention of breast engorgement among post caesarean mothers at selected hospitals, Mangaluru.60 samples were selected using a purposive sampling technique, 30 samples in experimental group and 30 samples in control group. modified breast engorgement tool and numerical pain rating scale was used to assess the level of breast engorgement and assess the level of pain. The findings were significant at p<0.05 which concludes that the nursing interventions package had an effect on prevention of breast engorgement in experimental group.
