In the present communication, a series of some new isoxazoline based chalcones were prepared by the conventional Claisen-Schmidt condensation1 method under mild reaction conditions. All the synthesized products were characterized by the spectroscopic and analytical measurements. Furthermore, all the synthesized compounds were screened for their antimicrobial activity.
